At "Resurgence" on September 13th, after Lufisto pinned Allysin Kaye in the main event, WSU/CZW owner came out to try to convince Lufisto to join him. Once she refused, DJ through a chair at her, busting her wide open, DJ then proceeded to break apart her doll.

At WSU's "Queen & King Of The Ring" on May 10th, DJ Hyde and his partner, Sassy Steph got knocked out of the tornament in the opening round when they were defeated by Shanna & Chris Dickinson.

At the first CZW "Dojo Wars" on May 21st, DJ Hyde teamed with Alexander James & Brooke Danielle in a losing effort against Brittany Blake, Dave McCall & Nate Carter.

At Xtreme Wrestling Alliance's "Wrestlution 2014 on May 24th, DJ Hyde defeated Donovan Dijack with the lariat.
